Living memories that insist on remaining vivid. Shot in Brazil and in the Middle East, the film presents the journeys of Palestinian families hit by persecutions and wars. It focuses on their relations with Palestine and Brazil as well as on how well they blend into Brazilian society. These narratives are shared memories of places and stories that were left behind. They shed light on the past and reveal how much of it is still alive today.

Omar L. de Barros es un director de cine, guionista y periodista brasileño. Dirigió Adyos, General, que representa la guerra civil en El Salvador y Viva a morte, la historia de un anciano español franquista dueño de un motel en Brasil. Ambas películas fueron galardonadas en festivales brasileños y se integran a un movimiento cinematográfico conocido en Brasil como Cine de Invención. Como periodista, Omar también trabajó como corresponsal en Sudamérica y América Central. Escribió libros sobre la conflictiva realidad latinoamericana. Recientemente formó parte de la serie de televisión É Preciso Resistir, producida por el Instituto Vladimir Herzog en São Paulo.

Omar L. de Barros Filho is a Brazilian film director, screenwriter and journalist. He directed Adyos, General, depicting the civil war in El Salvador, and Viva a Morte, the story of an old Spanish Francoist who owns a motel in Brazil. Both films were awarded at Brazilian festivals and belonged to a movement known in Brazil as Cinema of Invention. As a reporter, Omar also served as an international correspondent in South and Central America. He has written books about the conflicting Latin American reality. He has recently taken part of the TV series É Preciso Resistir, produced by the Vladimir Herzog Institute, in São Paulo.
